Our HOA operates well with the engagement and participation of all homeowners to support decision making of the Board and to address community concerns.
If you are interested in learning more about or in joining any of the committees, please send an email to forestglenstationhoa@gmail.com.
The Covenants Committee meets on an as-needed basis to review the HOA Covenants and Bylaws to guide decision making. As these guidelines determine the voting process of board members, changes to the covenants and bylaws, and interpretation of consequences for transgressions, it is important to have a robust covenants committee.
The Social and Communications Committee currently heads two events for our HOA:
The ever popular Halloween Parade where all families are welcomed to meet at the tot lot before heading on to a guided trick-or-treating adventure around the homes.
The annual Summer Block Party which is a family event held on the Tot Lot and adjacent grounds. There are games and entertainment for children, the HOA sponsors the cookout, and it is a wonderful time to meet or reconnect with neighbors.
If you have suggestions for other social events and/or would like to support the planning of any events, please let us know! We welcome all who are interested.
Grounds and Landscaping is one of the areas that the HOA covers for almost all of our homeowners (the exceptions are the single family homes). The Grounds and Landscaping committee will review budgets and proposals by landscaping companies and help to determine what kind of work we need to do as a community. Trees die, grass needs cutting, and various other grounds-keeping work needs to be done; it will be this committee that will support the HOA in making decisions for the property.
Did you know that not all homes have parking garages and that not all homes face a county road? As a result, parking can be challenging for these homeowners and their neighbors. The Parking and Safety Committee will meet as-needed to determine what can be done to help ease the parking issues that arise. This committee will also work with neighbors to ensure that driveways remain clear and do not obstruct the easement of other vehicles.
